Hi, my name is Ty Bourassa, proud owner of Tanglewood Carpentry. I have been a carpenter since 2013, focusing on developing a high-end skill set centered around artistic detail, precision craftsmanship, and quality construction. Born and raised in Powell River, my carpentry career began locally before I moved to work in the Sea to Sky region as an employee on high-end residential construction projects.

Working in that environment sparked my passion for finishing carpentry and custom craftsmanship. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the coast and mountains, I developed an appreciation for creating spaces and details that complement the environment around them — blending thoughtful design, natural materials, and precision work to bring each client’s vision to life.
